  RUBY, Mrs. John\emdashIn Maples Home for Seniors, Tavistock, on Sunday, Jan. 2, 1983, Barbara Baechler, formerly of East Zorra township, in her 101st year. Wife of the late John Ruby (1966); dear mother of Manuel of 40 McGee Ave., Kitchener, Henry of Three Hills, Alta., Mrs. Henry (Katie) Gingerich of RR 1, Shakespeare, Mrs. Rudy (Edna) Gingerich of Baden, Andrew and Mrs. Wilmer (Eudora) Bender, both of Tavistock; dear sister of Mrs. Catherine Brenneman of Nithview Home, New Hamburg. Forty-one grandchildren, 93 great-grandchildren and 34 great-great-grandchildren also survive. Predeceased by sons, Amos and Sylvester; daughter, Mary Ann; brothers, Andrew, Joseph, Peter and Amos; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Friends will be received at the Francis Funeral Home, 77 Woodstock St. N., Tavistock, Monday 7-9, Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral service will be in East Zorra Mennonite Church, 16th line, Wednesday, Jan. 5, 1983 at 2 p.m. The Rev. Homer Yutzy will officiate. Interment in the church cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
