_______________________
Ths funeral of Mrs. J. S. Detweiler of Windsor was held on Monday afternoon with service at the United Brethren Church and the pastor, Rev. Mrs. Ruth Snider, officiating. Interment was made in the Roseville cemetery. The late Mrs. Detweiler was in her 93rd year and was a native of this village. Nancy Bricker Detweiler was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Bricker. About 27 years ago she went to Windsor to reside with her daughter, Mrs. Tenant. Surviving are two sons, Astor of Rochester, N.Y., and Herbert of California, two daughters, Mrs. Sararus (Annie) of Chicago, and Mrs. Tenant (Bertha) of Windsor, and grandchildren; also one brother, George Bricker, of Yale, Mich. Many beautiful floral tributes spoke of the high esteem held for the deceased. The pallbearers were five grand-nephews: Roy and Elmer Stoltz, Melvin Becker, Merle Coleman, Harvey Hallman, and George Hope.
Those attending the funeral of Mrs. Detweiler from a distance were Mrs. Sararus, Mrs. Tenant and daughter, Miss Iris Tenant, and Mr. Astor Detweiler and sons.
