- Magdelena Fischer was daughter of Mr. Fischer & Catherine Barbara Kallenbach (b. 11 Jun 1783 Frances & died 13 Jan 1861 in Vaughan), remarried Adam Mager. buried Baker Cober Cemetery, York County, Ontario. Catherine Kallenbach was married by the Rev. V. B. Mayerhoffer (Archives of Diocese of Toronto) to Adam Mager on May 31, 1835 in Markham.

COBER, MAGDALENA (nee Fischer)
One of the town's oldest citizens, on February 3, 1920, at the ripe old age of 97 years. Wife of the late Nicholas P. Cober. She was born in Holland but had been a resident of the Hespeler area for many years. She was of a very quiet disposition. Mrs. Cober had many friends, as well as the following children: Mrs. John Goudie of Michigan; Miss Mary and Jerry, both of Hespeler. The funeral was held on Thursday afternoon.
