- Death of Miss Rachael Singer.
The death of Miss Rachael Singer occurred Sunday morning at 6 o'clock, at the home of her father, Alexander Singer, 311 Madison street, the immediate cause being a combined attack of asthma and congestion of the lungs.
The deceased had been almost a life-long Invalid and came to Petoskey a number of years ago for her health. She was born in Waterloo, Canada, April 8, 1857.
The funeral was held at the home, this afternoon, at 8 o'clock, in charge of Rev. J. F. Horton of the First Presbyterian church of which she was a faithful member, interment in Greenwood cemetery.
