  Death of William Wyllie - Mr. William Wyllie, who had been ill for some time, died at 4 o'clock, Saturday, March 30th, at his residence St. Johns Rd., Toronto. Mr. Wyllie was 72 years of age and had been a resident of West Toronto since 1885. He was born at Ayr, where he conducted a drug store for some time and was very highly esteemed in his home town. On going to West Toronto he started a drug business. He kept a diary of Toronto Junction suburb doings and his interesting notations are still in the possession of the family. Mr. Wyllie was a Presbyterian and was one of the founders of Victoria Presbyterian Church in West Toronto, and of which he was secretary for many years. He is survived by Mrs. Wyllie, a daughter (Mrs. McEachern) and a son (Robert) who has been overseas for two years. The funeral service was held at the family residence, on Monday night and on Tuesday the remains were brought here and interred in the Ayr cemetery. The Ayr News Apr 4 1918 pg 8
