  Death of Old New Hamburg Resident The death took place at Yale, Mich., last Thursday of Mr. Louis Brill at the age of 68 years. The deceased was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Peter Brill, of this town. He was born in New Hamburg and spent his early days here but many years lived in Michigan. He leaves his wife and three sons besides two sisters, Mrs. Chris. Hamel, of Stratford, Mrs. August Vontrau, of Preston, and three brothers, Mr. Peter Brill, of Waterloo, Daniel, of Detroit, and John, of Preston. Mr. Ed. Grundenberger and son, Harry, attended the funeral which was held at Yale on Sunday afternoon. New Hamburg Independent, March 14, 1930
