- DEATH OF MR: SAMUEL ZINGG
Word has just reached us of the death of Mr. Samuel Zingg, one of the early citizens of Sanborn, at an age of more than eighty-five. Zingg came here from Canada, following his son., Albert, who was the second agent at the railroad station, and who platted one or two additions to the town site. The Zingg family left here many years ago and took up land on the Missouri Slope. Word of his demise was telephoned from Steele today by his son-in-law, Lem G. Brewster, a former Sanborn resident.
The body will be brought here for burial in Fairview Cemetery. The funeral will be Friday or Saturday.
The first death in Sanborn was that of a son of Mr. Zingg, who was struck by lightning while driving cows.
