  Mrs. Sylvannus Groh NEW DUNDEE, Oct, 20 - A former resident of this village, Mrs. Sylvannus Groh passed away at the Western Hospital, Toronto on Friday evening, following a lingering illness. She was 78 years of age. Mrs. Groh, whose maiden name was Salome Krupp, was born in New Dundee in 1869 a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs, Isaac Krupp. After her marriage she lived in Toronto. Surviving is one sister. Mrs. W. 0. Monger (Ella) of Hamilton, One son, Earl, died in 1948 and her husband passed away in 1944. A funeral service will be held in Toronto this evening and the body will arrive in New Dundee on Tuesday morning and will rest at the Path Funeral Home until 2 p.m. on Wednesday when removal will be made to the Bethel M.B.C. Church where a service will be held at 2: 30 o'clock. Rev. Herbert Shantz will officiate. Interment will be made in the New Dundee Union Cemetery, Kitchener Daily Record 20 Oct 1947 pg 17
