  Died New Hamburg, Ontario, Canada The death of Henry Ernest eldest son of Ernst and Ellen Page Franke was received with profound sorrow by the people of our town, although it was known for a week that no hopes were entertained that his young and useful life might be spared. He was born in New Hamburg and in his 20th year. The funeral took place on Wednesday afternoon from his parents residence, Wilmont street. After a short service at the house, the funeral cortege proceeded to the Lutheran church, which by far could not contain all the people who attended. The remains were then taken to the village cemetery and laid to their resting place.
