  ATKINSON, Walter Arnold (Mike) - On Thursday, Dec. 9, 2004, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, in his 78th year. Father of Sharon Gamble of Cambridge, David of Cambridge, Douglas and his wife Lee of Paris, Sheila Turin and her husband Paul of Woodstock, Shirley Atkinson of Cambridge and Jill Atkinson of Plattsville. Also survived by nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, two brothers, Lawrence and Bill and one sister Inez Cram, all of Cambridge. Predeceased by his parents Walter and Wilma Atkinson, brothers Cecil and Ernest and one grandchild. Walter was born in Preston on February 4, 1927 and retired from Brewer's Retail and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Preston Branch No. 126. Cremation has taken place. A private family service was held. As expressions of sympathy donation to the Canadian Cancer Society would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
