  Mrs. Bertha Delion A native of New Hamburg, Mrs. Bertha E. Delion, widow of the late Charles Delion, died suddenly at her home in Toronto last Thursday, aged 78 years. The deceased was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Meier of New Hamburg. She spent her girlhood days here and after her marriage resided for several years in Elmira where her husband conducted the Elmira Advertiser newspaper about fifty years ago. They later went to Kitchener and after the death of her husband about 33 years ago, the deceased moved to Toronto where she since resided. She was a Lutheran in religion and a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Toronto. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. John Wurham, Toronto, a sister, Miss Emma Meier, Toronto, and three brothers, Ferdinand and August Meier, Stratford, and Herman Meier, Hespeler. The funeral was held on Saturday with service in the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home in the afternoon, followed by interment in St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Kitchener. Rev.
