      Baden, March 10. Pte. Jackie Stifflemeyer, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Stifflemeyer of Baden,. has been killed in Action in Holiand, according to word received today from Ottawa. Mr. and Mrs, Stifflemeyer operate the Baden Hotel Further information was not immediately available

      PTE. JACK STIEFLEMEYER

      By Record Correspondent BADEN, March 13.\emdash Additional information has been received about another of Baden's young men who hag been killed in action. Pte. Jack Stiefelmeyer, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. N. Stieflemeyer, Baden Hotel, 22-year-old infantryman, gave his life while in action on Feb. 27. He had been serving in France, Holland and Belgium since last November.

      Pte. Stieflemeyer enlisted with the armored corps in 1942 and after reaching England was transferred to an infantry regiment. The deceased had been well known in Baden and as a tribute to his supreme sacrifice a memorial service is to be held at Baden Presbyterian Church on Sunday afternoon.
