Aaron Bricker, Mayor 1906-7.
Aaron Bricker, now of the Steam Heating Co., was mayor of the town of Berlin in 1906-7, previous to which he sat on the Council and the public school Board. During his term of office, in 1906, an Old Boys' Reunion was held. The numbering of the houses and the opening of the Sewer Farm were also events of note. The inauguration of the Police Commission was put through in 1907. He is proud of the city of his adoption and wishes it progress and growth. A Greater Berlin is a popular slogan with Ex Bricker.

A. Bricker, Carriage Maker, Queen Street - The trade of the carriage maker is one of much importance in any community, and especially in a place like Berlin, surrounded as it is with a large farming community, who depend in a great measure on vehicles of one kind or another for their means of transportation. Among those most prominently engaged in this line is Mr. A. Bricker, whose works are located on Queen Street, near King. The premises occupied are 35x70 feet and two stories in height, where employment is furnished to 12 skilled and careful workmen. The business has been established for the past eight years, and has steadily increased in extent since the date of its inception. Mr. Bricker builds all kinds of carriages, buggies, wagons, etc., and has gained a high reputation for excellence of workmanship and the quality of material in the vehicles constructed by him. He receives and fills orders for all parts of the Dominion, doing a large business in the West and North-West. He is a Canadian by birth, and a practical workman as well as a capable, enterprising and persevering business man, and one who is held in the highest esteem in the community. He has often been invited to allow himself to be elected to public office, but has been forced to decline on account of pressure of business.
