  Leslie W. Turnbull Leslie William Turnbull of Renwick Avenue, Cambridge, passed away at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Saturday, November 9th. He was in his 86th year. Born in South Dumfries Township, he was a son of the late William Turnbull and Eva Hawes. For many years he and his family resided in Ayr, at the corner of Hall and Northumberland Streets. Beloved husband of the late Marjorie Scott. Dear father of Robert and his wife Dawna, Brian, Donna Turnbull, all of Cambridge, Douglas and his wife Georgina of Burlington, James of Ayr, William of Kitchener, Joan (Mrs. Joe Marco) of Brantford, Marilyn Hartwick of Elmira and Nancy Kazimierczak of London, Ont. Also survived by his sisters, Helen Riddell. Marion Prike. both of Cambridge, Margaret Hagey of Ayr, Jean Crawley of London, Ont. and by nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Predeceased by a sister, Bess. Private funeral service was held at Corbett Funeral Home, Cambridge, on Tuesday. Interment Ayr Cemetery. The Ayr News 13 Nov 1991 pg 16
