  Went on to be with her Lord and Saviour, on Saturday, August 7, 2004, after a lengthy illness at the age of 77 years. Besides her loving husband, Clayton of 60 years, Irene will be forever remembered by her children, Pat and her husband Ron, Gerald, Roger and his wife Anne, Connie and her husband Reinhold, Dean and his wife Carol as well as her 12 beloved grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Irene is also survived by one sister, Dorothy and her husband Fred. Irene was predeceased by her parents, five brothers and one sister. Irene was a faithful member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church and most recently Waterloo Pentecostal Assembly. She was employed with J.M. Schneiders, Kitchener for many years. Friends are invited to share their memories of Irene with her family at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, today (Tuesday, August 10, 2004) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Irene's life and faith will be held at the Waterloo Pentecostal Assembly, 395 King Street North, Waterloo on Wednesday, August 11, 2004 at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Marshall Eizenga officiating. Interment to follow at Parkview Cemetery with a time of fellowship immediately following the committal service in the reception room of the Edward R. Good Funeral Home. In memory of Irene, donations may be made to the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario and can be arranged through the funeral home by calling 745-8445 or www.edwardrgood.com.
