  • Notes 
    • A report concerning his son Hacco appeared in the Dumfries Reformer on October 29, 1885. He had been practicing with his rifle, putting bullets through the hats of his companions, from a distance of twenty five yards, when he put a bullet through his toe. When he was older he was associated with travelling medicine shows, some of which featured fancy shooting.
