      MENNO M. SURARUS

      Menno M. Surarus, who moved to Freeport several months ago from North Bay, passed away Sunday in his 75th year. The death occurred suddenly at 7.20 In the morning following a stroke. Mr. Surarus was born in Freeport, a son the late Mr. and Mrs. David Surarus.

      His wife, nee Louise Stengel, to whom he was married in 1881. sure with three grandchildren.

      One daughter, Mrs. E. V. Sherman of North Bay predeceased him a year ago. Two sisters, Mrs Ellen Melsel, Centreville, and Mr. Louis Ernst, city, also survive.

      The funeral will be held Wednesday at 2:30 o'clock from the Funeral home and thence to the Freeport Cemetery for burial. Rev. Elliott, pastor of the Freeport United Church will officiate.
