  WILLIAM G. BYE A man who spent all his life in the Pilkington district, William George Bye, 54, R.R. 1, West Montrose, died suddenly Sunday. He was born July 1, 1897, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William G. Bye. Surviving are his wife, the former Margaret Ann Letson; four daughters, Mrs. Gerald (Mary) McLellan, Guelph; Jean Bye, a nurse-in-train-training at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener; and Eleanore and Hilda at home; one son, Murray of Vancouver; two sisters, Mrs. Thomas Davies, Elora, and Ruby Bye, lot 18, Elora; and two grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by one son, February 12, 1952. The body is at the Dreisinger Funeral Parlor, Elmira, and the service will be held in the chapel there Friday at 2:30 p.m. Rev. W. M. B. Metcalfe will officiate and interment will be in West Montrose United Church Cemetery.
