- MRS. CATHERINE RAHN
Mrs. Catherine Rahn, 81, of 28 Betzner Ave., Kitchener, died Saturday at the K-W Hospital following a brief illness. She was born in Woolwich Township, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. David Robertson. She was the last surviving member of her family. Mrs. Rahn was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church. Her husband, Louis Rahn, died in 1924.
Surviving is one son, Edgar Rahn, formerly of Elmira and now of Galt; one daughter, Mrs. Walter (Beatrice) Klinck, formerly of Elmira and now of Waterloo, and three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The funeral was held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, with Rev. Dr. John Schmieder, pastor of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in charge. Interment was in Union Cemetery, Elmira, about 3:15 p.m. The casket was opened at the cemetery for the Elmira friends.
