  GATEHOUSE, Richard 0. Of 1024 Vine St. Preston, at the South Waterloo Memorial Hospital, Monday, Dec. 11, 1972, Richard O. Gatehouse; beloved husband of Margery Ramsay and father of Lawrence of Picton, Ont., Dr. Wayne of Guelph, Irene (Mrs. Robert Jacobi) of Oakville, Lorna (Mrs. James McCutcheon) of Kitchener, Eleanore (Mrs. James Johanson) of Bothwell; also survived by two sisters, Miss Mable Gatehouse of Preston and Kattrine (Mrs. George Pollard) of Waterloo; also 16 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Mr. Gatehouse was born in London, England and has lived in Preston, for over 60 years; retired painter and decorator, member of King Street Baptist Church; veteran of the First World War. Mr. Gatehouse is resting at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, 566 Queen St., Preston, until noon Thursday, then to King Street Baptist Church, for funeral and committal service.
