  BENDER, Mildred Veronica 95, formerly of Mississauga, died Saturday, February 19, 2011, at home in Arlington, Texas. Born March 31, 1915 in North Easthope Township, Ontario, she was the daughter of the late Herman E. Snyder and Edna L. Schmidt. While living in Mississauga, Mildred was the manager of a ladies retail store. In her early years she played the church organ and through the piano continued to share her love of music with family and friends. Beloved wife of the late Graham Bender, who predeceased her September 26, 2001. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Mary Lou and Tom Dabbert of Arlington, Texas and Judy and Rick Ionita of Blaine, Washington. Dear grandmother of Nicole Dabbert, Jeremy Dabbert, Jonathan Dabbert all of Dallas, Texas, Nicholas Ionita of San Francisco, California and Brittany Ionita of San Angelo, Texas. Also missed by her sister Floris McLeod of Kitchener, Ontario. Mildred was predeceased by her sister Gretta Widmeyer and two brothers Harold and Walter Snyder. Mildred, while living in Mississauga, was a member of First United Church and attended The First United Methodist Church in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Family and friends may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron Street, New Hamburg on Tuesday, March 1, 2011 from 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Wednesday, March 2, 1011 at Zion United Church, New Hamburg at 1 p.m. with Pastor Austin Snyder officiating. Interment in Riverside Cemetery, New Hamburg. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
