  Death Of Mrs. J. A. Reid Funeral of Former Resident Took Place to Ayr Cemetery on Tuesday The funeral took place to the Ayr Cemetery on Tuesday afternoon of the late Mrs. John Alexander Reid, whose death occurred suddenly in Toronto on Sunday. Mrs. Reid, whose maiden name was Mary Oliver, was born at Burford and came to Ayr with her father, the late Thomas Oliver, in her early 'teens. Here, she was married to John A. Reid, whose death occurred in 1920. Mrs. Reid left Ayr 15 years ago to live with her family in Toronto. While residing here, she was a member of the former Stanley Street Church, and, after the union, of Knox United. Mrs. Reid is survived by one son, Stanley L. Reid. Toronto, and two daughters, Mrs. A. Irvine (Amie) of Oshawa, and Mrs. O. H. King (Eva) of Toronto. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. S. Doran and Mrs. J. Louden, Burford. Rev. D. I. Ellison of Toronto, formerly pastor of Stanley Street Church, Ayr, had charge of the funeral services, and the pallbearers were: Wm. Manson, Howard Reid and Robert Gladstone.
