    • DEATH OF JOHN MANNEROW.

John Mannerow, one of Sullivan's best known and most highly esteemed citizens passed away last Thursday and was interred in the Lutheran cemetery on Saturday. Mr. Mannerow who had reached the allotted age of three score and ten years, had been complaining of grip for a week or so, and when pneumonia set in he did not last long. Since leaving the old homestead on the 8th of Sullivan, he had resided in Desboro. Mr. Mannerow was a very industrious man and by his thrift and good business habits accumulated considerable money which he always loaned at a reasonable rate of interest. For many years he was treasurer of Sullivan township, and was recognized by everybody as a man of the strictest integrity. He was a member of the Lutheran church and in politics a staunch liberal. His family are Louis on the homestead, August of 8th con. Elderslie, Mrs. Jno. Rahn, Desboro, Mrs Priesz, Brant. and Mrs. Thos. Halliday, Sullivan. Chesley Enterprise.
