  Mrs. John A. Mumford Mrs. John A. Mumford, 80, of Freeport died today at the K-W Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Preston March 21, 1876, she was the former Emma Heise, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Heise. She was a Lutheran. Surviving are her husband; one son, George of Lytton, B.C.; two daughters, Kathleen of Baltimore and Mrs. Douglas (Betty) Jeffery of Toronto; five sisters. Elizabeth of Preston, Dorothy of Toronto, Mrs. C .C. Hahn, RR 1, Preston, Mrs. Lottie Storher of Lansing, Mich., and Mrs. Russell Riley of Peterborough; two grandsons. Three brothers and one sister predeceased her. The body is at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home where the funeral will be conducted Monday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery with Rev.
