  DEATH OF JACOB ROOS Mr. Jacob Roos, an esteemed citizen, father of the well-known brewer, Mr. George Roos, and father-in-law of the celebrated piano manufacturer of New York, Wm. Steinway, died at his residence in this city Wednesday evening about nine o'clock. Mr. Roos had nearly completed his sixtieth year.
