      PRESTON, Oct, 7— The death occured suddenly in Toronto yesterday morning of Alvina Roesgen, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Roesgen. A native of Preston, the deceased, who lived here until 30 years ago when she moved to Toronto, was well known both in Preston and Toronto. A dressmaker by trade, the late Miss Roesgen was a member of the Carmen United Church, Toronto. Surviving are six sisters, Mrs. Thomas Burnett, Hespeler, Miss Minnie Spellen, Toronto, Mrs. Kate Sturdy, Miss Nettie Roesgen and Mrs. Edward Bowman, of Preston, Miss Rose Roesgen, Toronto and four brothers, William Roesgen, Preston, Edward Roesgen, Dundas, Edgar Roesgen, Rochester and Arthur of Rouchville, Sask. Memorial services will be held in Toronto tomorrow, the late Miss Roesgen will rest at the Stager-Pass Ltd. Funeral Home, Preston, from Saturday until the funeral at 2.30 o'clock. Interment will be in Preston Cemetery.
