    • John Cober, "was born July 28th, 1851. He is married to Sarah Groh. They reside three miles east of Hespeler where he is farming. Their family consists of six children."

      COBER, JOHN G.

      At his home on Cooper St. in Hespeler, at noon on Sunday, June 1, 1930, in his 79th year, He was born in Puslinch Township and resided on a farm on the 3rd concession of Puslinch, previous to his coming to Hespeler about eight years ago. He was a member of the German Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, four sons, Oliver and Albert of Barrie; Wellington of Guelph; Milton of Winnipeg; Ida and Isabel at home; and one brother, Solomon Cober of Hungerford Rd. The funeral was held on Tuesday at 2 from his residence. Please omit flowers. Interment took place in Hespeler Cemetery. Rev. H. R. Frey conducted the services. Pallbearers: Nelson Bechtel of Hespeler; Lesie Witmer and Elton Holm of Preston; A. Wismer and Charles Cober of Kossuth; and Jacob Cober of Toronto.

      -Information from the death certificate: Born in Puslinch on July 28, 1851, son of Jacob Cober and Mary Groh. Death due to lobar pneumonia.
