  Eby, Floyd Edwin, son of Edwin and Ida (Diefenbacher) Eby, was born in Kitchener, Ont., Nov. 16, 1917; died of a heart attack at Kitchener, Ont., Mar. 12, 1981; aged 63 y. On Mar. 5, 1949, he was married to Marion Bauman, who survives. Also surviving are two sons (Darryl and Paul), two daughters (Karen-Mrs. Larry Buchanan and Lynn-Mrs. Ray Gibson), 4 grandchildren, 2 sisters (Pearl and Ruth Eby), and 3 brothers (Clarence, Orton, and Keith). He was a member of the Stirling Avenue Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on Mar. 14, in charge of Vernon Leis and Mary Mae Schwartzentruber; interment in Woodland Cemetery. Gospel Herald - Volume 74, Number 17 - April 28, 1981 - page 350 ______________________ County Judge Dead - Judge E.J. Hearn passed away at his home in Kitchener on Tuesday, March 26th. He had not been in the best of health for some time and was confined with an attack of pneumonia only a few days prior to his demise. His unexpected death was a shock to his many friends. The late Judge Hearn succeeded the late Judge Reade was senior Judge of Waterloo County in 1917. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and of the I.O.F. and a true Catholic in relation. He leaves his widow and family of grown up sons and daughters to mourn his passing. The funeral to the Catholic Mausoleum at the Catholic Mausoleum at Kitchener.
