- Edward Lewis, 12 Brubacher Street died March 18 at K-W Hospital, after a brief illness. He was 62.
Born January 12, 1908 in Moorefield, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Albert Lewis. He served overseas with the Royal Canadian Regiment for five years during the second world war and was a member of the Elmira branch of the Royal Canadian Legion.
Surviving are his wife, the former Muriel Bricker; two brothers, George of Kitchener, and Clarence of London, Ont., and two sisters, Mrs. C. (Jean) Rachar and Mrs. D. (Roberta) McConnell, both of London.
Rev. M.E. Reuber of Zion United Church conducted the service Friday at the Dreisinger Funeral Parlor. Burial was in Elmira cemetery.
