It is with great sadness we announce the passing of a wonderful mom, wife, grandma, great grandma, great great grandma, sister, aunt, and friend, in her 90th year. Olga passed away, surrounded by the love of her family, on Tuesday, February 11, 2014. Loving wife of John (Jack) Schnarr for 67 years who she lost 1 ½ years ago. Olga will be missed by her daughter Judy Schnarr-Chiduck (Manfred), son James (Karen), and Bob (Sandy). Proud grandma to Kerry Becker (Karin), Matthew Magnone, Tammy (Kevin) Paul, and Bobbie-Jo Schnarr and great grandma to Katie (Tom), Cody, Ashley (Anthony), Brittanie, Randi, George, Aiden, and Alexis. Great great grandma to Gemma and Brinley. Olga leaves behind four loving sisters, Mary Delion, Kathleen Hunt, Susie Muldoon and Lydia Penner. Also survived by loving nieces and nephews. She is also leaving behind brothers / sisters-in-law, Jerry and Elaine Schnarr and Loretta and Jerry Zettel.
Predeceased by her parents Susanna (Lehn) and David Rempel. Olga and her family enjoyed 40 years of camping at Miller Lake and had many wonderful friends and memories during this time.
The family would like to sincerely thank the 6th floor nurses, doctors, and caregivers for the compassion and care they gave Olga and her family while at St. Mary's Hospital and also special thanks to Pastor Anne Anderson and Pastor Helen Toman for your many special prayers and visits.
Family and friends are invited to gather at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 23 Church St., New Hamburg, for visitation beginning at 12:30 pm on Thursday, February 13, 2014. The memorial service will be held following the visitation at 2:00 pm. Reception to follow.
