  William A. Watson Passes - The death occurred in the Regina Hospital, Regina, Sask., on Monday morning of William A. Watson, in his 82nd year. Mr. Watson was born in Ayr, in the residence now occupied by Mr. and Mrs. F. P. Holman, being a son of Christena Scott and Archibald Watson. He followed the trade of machinist and was employed with the Canadian Pacific Railway for the greater part, of his life, working in the shops of the company at Stratford, Winnipeg and Moose Jaw. His father, the late Archibald Watson, was a brother of John Watson, who was the originator of the John Watson Mfg. Co. Ltd. about a century ago. Mr. Watson was the last surviving member of a family of seven. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Roy Campbell, Regina, and Mrs. Horace Stovin, Vancouver, B.C. The funeral will take place on Friday afternoon at 2.30 from the residence of Mrs. A. R. Robertson to the Ayr Cemetery. The Ayr News Mar 18 1948 pg 18
