  MEDEIROS, Joao De (formerly of San Miguel, Azores) - Passed away peacefully on Monday, March 31, 2008 at Cambridge Memorial Hospital in his 80th year. Loving husband of Zelia (nee Vieira) and father of Mario (Donna) of Branchton, Carlos (Jennifer) of Sault St. Marie, John (Lucille) of Dundas, and Joe of Cambridge. Beloved grandfather of Michael (fiancé Jill), Matthew, Lauren, Christopher, Jonathan and Jasmine. Son of the late Manuel and Maria Medeiros. Dear brother of Manuel (Alda), Lucy (Serafim) Da Silva, Maria Silva, Gilda Ferreira, Conceicao Cordeiro, Maria Jose Medeiros. Predeceased by his sister, Adriana. Resting at the Corbett Funeral Home , 95 Dundas Street, Cambridge where the family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 2, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Rosary will be recited at the funeral home on Wednesday evening at 8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima R.C.
