  Zehr, Rev. Menno On Tuesday, July 15, 1980, at his residence in Milverton, in his 77th year. Son of the late John S. and Catherine (Shultz) Zrhr; dear husband of Alice Baechler, whom he married November 26, 1925; father of Blanche (Mrs. Lincoln Ropp) of Milverton, Nelda (Mrs. Edgar Leis) of Waterloo and Kenneth of Windsor. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, one btother Chris of Baden and one sister, Mrs. Fannie Jantzi of New Hamberg. he was predeceased by two brothers and one sister. The late Rev. Zehr is resting at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, "Milverton Chapel" 9 Pacific Ave., until noon Thursday, when removal will be made to Poole Mennonite Church, Poole, for service at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at the Millbank Riverdale Mennonite cemetery. 1 1The Kitchener-Waterloo Record Newspaper 16 Jul 1980 __________________ Zehr, Menno, son of John and Catherine (Shultz) Zehr, was born in Wellesley, Ont., Sept. 21, 1903; died at his home in Milverton, Ont., July 15, 1980; aged 76 y. On Nov. 26, 1925, he was married to Alice Baechler, who survives. Also surviving are one son (Ken), 2 daughters (Blanche-Mrs. Lincoln Ropp, Nelda-Mrs. Edgar Leis), 9 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, one brother (Chris), and one sister (Fannie-Mrs. Allen Jantzi). In 1948 he was ordained to the ministry and served the Riverdale (where he was a member), Wellesley, Glen Allen, Moorfield and Berea churches. Funeral services were held at Poole Mennonite Church, July 17, in charge of Amsey Martin, George Ball, Orlan Gingerich, and David Jantzi; interment in Riverdale Cemetery.
