    • WIDEMAN, Elam H. On Tuesday, Dec. 27, 1983, at K-W Hospital following a lengthy illnes, Elam H. Wideman, in his 55th year, of RR 1, St. Jacobs. Beloved husband of Minerva Bearinger; dear father of Abner and Leonard, both of RR 6, Mount Forest, Lester and Mrs. Howard (Anna) Frey, both of RR 1, Mount Forest and Cleason and Irene, both at home. Eight Grandchildren also survive. Brother of Mrs. Emmanuel (Salome) Reist, Mrs. Orvie (Elvina) Shantz, Mrs. Simeon (Susanna) Weber, Nrs. Sidney (Adeline) Brubacher. also surviving are his step-mother, Mrs. Sarah Wideman of RR 2, West Montrose; one step-sister, Mrs. Elmer (Ada) Weber and one step-brother, John Gingrich. He was predeceased by his parents Menno and Amanda Wideman, and one brother, Onias. Friends may call at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira, after 7 p. m. today until Thursday at 1 p. m. , when removal will be made to his home, RR 1 St. Jacobs, where funeral service will be held on Friday Morning at 9 a. m. , then to the Conestoga Mennonite Meeting House, for further service and burial in the adjoining Cemetery.
