Constructed from rounded river stone from the nearby Grand River in 1856. The house had 4 rooms and walls 15 inches thick and built by John Wolff who ran the tailor shop. It was demolished in 2005 and the stones placed in the ground to mark the outline of the house as well to build a cairn which which houses a plaque to mark the site and which was also the site of "The Bush Inn" which had been built in 1853-1854 and destroyed by fire in 1867.
