  BENDER, Mrs. Raymond (Bonnie) - On Tuesday, Jan. 14, 1997, at Stratford General Hospital, Bonnie Marie Bender, of Wellesley. Born in Stratford 43 years ago. Cherished daughter of Oliver and Inez (Gerber) Ramseyer of Tavistock. Bonnie was a member of the Wellesley Mennonite Church. Beloved wife of Raymond Bender of Wellesley; loving mother of Grant Bender of Wellesley and Tracy Bender of Toronto; dear sister of Donna and her husband Paul Ballantyne of Stratford, Colleen and her husband Stephen Zehr of Hickson, Valarie and her husband Robert Tamblyn of Amherstburg. Lovingly remembered by her grandmother, Mary Ann Ramseyer of Tavistock and her mother-in-law, Marion Leis of Wellesley. Sister-in-law of Elaine and her husband Henry Schlueter of Princeton, Sharon and her husband James Brown of New Dundee and Ronald and his wife Christine Bender of Waterloo. Cherished by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her father-in-law, Marcus Bender in 1970 and her step-father-in-law, LeRoy Leis in 1992. Visitation at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home, 40 Henry St. W., Wellesley, where family and friends will be received this evening (Wednesday) from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday from 2-4 and 7.9 p.m. At noon on Friday, Jan. 17, removal will be made to the Wellesley Mennonite Church for the funeral service at 2 p.m. Pastor Ray Martin will officiate. Spring interment in Rush's Cemetery, Wellesley township. Memorials to the Stratford General Hospital Foundation or the Palliative Care at the Stratford General Hospital, would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
