  PASS, Gordon Edward At Fairview Mennonite Home on Friday February 27, 1998 in his 84th year. Predeceased by his wife Anna Louisa (nee Bullivant). Beloved father of David Pass and his wife Joan and Peter Pass and his wife Heidi. Beloved grandfather of Sharon Romagnoli, Jamie Pass and Carolyn Pass. Survived by sisters Evelyn Baxter of Guelph and Peggy Scott of Dresden. Gordon was a prominent businessman in the Preston area of Cambridge for many years. He was the original proprietor of Gordon Pass & Co. Furniture stores and was involved in many business ventures, was a life-member and past president of the Preston-Hespeler Rotary Club, founder of the Wellington-Waterloo Hunt Club, served overseas during the 2nd World War with the Highland Light Infantry, served on the Preston Board of Education and the Chamber of Commerce and was a longtime member. of King Street Baptist Church in Cambridge Preston. Friends and relatives will be received at the BARTHEL FUNERAL HOME, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge on Monday (today) March 2 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral Services will be conducted at King Street Baptist Church, 361 King Street, East Cambridge on Tuesday, March 3 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Daniel Gibson officiating. Cremation to follow. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Fairview Mennonite Home Building Fund, 799 Concession s Road, Cambridge, Ontario, N3H 4L1 would be appreciated by the family.
