- Kropf, Eldon - Mr. Eldon Donald Kropf, age 69, of Cedarcroft Place, 260 Church St., Stratford, passed away, peacefully, at his residence, on Sunday, Feb. 27, 2000. He was born in Milverton, son of the late Alvin Kropf and the former Lavina Kipfer. He had been employed at McConnell Glass and late at AFG Glass in Stratford, retiring in 1988. He was a member of the Army, Navy and Air Force, Unit 261, Stratford and the Stratford Cribbage League. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Jante May Heinbecker on August 9, 1995. He is survived by a son, Darren Kropf and his wife Christine and a daughter, Sharon Tough and her husband Donald, all of Stratford and grandchildren, MacKenzie Kropf, Shayna Kropf, Brad Tough, Jennifer Tough and Steven Tough; also survived by brothers, Ralph Kropf and his wife Esther of Wellesley, Stan Kropf and his wife Jean of Mount Forest and Delford Kropf of Kitchener and a sister, Marg Henning of Stratford. Besides his wife and parents, he was predeceased by a brother-in-law, Albert Henning. Friends and relatives may call at the W. G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron St., Stratford on Tuesday, Feb. 29, 2000 from 204 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11 a.m., Rev. Douglas Reble will officiate. Cremation to follow with internment in Avondale Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Toronto Sick Children's Hospital through the funeral home.
