  Mrs. Isaac Nahrgang Funeral services for Mrs. Isaac Nahrgang of Galt, mother of Mrs. Fred (Jean) Broda and Mrs. Eric (Katherine) Schmidt of New Hamburg, were held last week. Mrs. Nahrgang died on Monday of last week at the South Waterloo Hospital in Galt at the age of 66. The former Elizabeth Turner, she was born in Leicester, England and came to Galt from England 62 years ago. She was a member of Delta Park Baptist Church and a member of the local Golden Age club; the ladies' auxiliary of the Order of the Moose and the ladies' auxiliary of Branch 121 of the Royal Canadian Legion. Surviving, in addition to Mrs. Broda and Mrs. Schmidt, are her husband, Isaac Nahrgang, five sons, John Chesnev in the Canadian Armed Forces in Germany, Harry Chesnev of Simcoe, William Nahrgang of Rostock, Robert of Kitchener and Percy of Galt, five other daughters, Mrs. William (Shirley) Grant, Mrs. Faye Campbell and Mrs. George (Joyce) McCann, all of Galt, Mrs. Donald Schwoob of Kitchener and Mrs. John (Donna) Lowe of Toronto; 48 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Interment was in Memory Gardens, Breslau Coutt's and Son Funeral Home, Galt, was in charge of arrangements. New Hamburg Independent, April 30, 1969
