- Vincent Bogatin, 54, owner of Vincent's Meat Market, 692 Highland Rd. W., died today at St. Mary's Hospital after an illness of six months. He lived at the same address. He was a native of Yugoslavia and a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bogatin. He came to Canada in 1949, and opened his store 12 years ago. Mr. Bogatin was a member of St. Francis RC Church and of the Sava Club. Surviving are his wife, the former Christina Peterlinsek whom he married in Yugoslavia in 1942; one daughter, Christine, at home; a brother, Frank of Kitchener, and two sisters, Mrs. Andrew (Bridgette) Yancic and Mrs. Dominic (Mary) Svaigel, both in Yugoslavia. The body is at the Gruhn Funeral Home where the rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Wednesday and prayers offered at 9: 30 a.m. Thursday, followed by requiem high mass at St. Francis Church at 10 o'clock. Burial will be in Woodland cemetery.
