At four o'clock A.M. last Wednesday, Mrs. Joseph Wildfong breathed her last. She had been living at Dudley but came to the city several months ago to live with her daughter, Mrs. Wm. Torrey, who resides just the other side of the Devil Creek bridge.
Deceased, who was seventy-five years old at the time of her death, came to the county in 1889 living in the Sixth ward for five years, and then removing to Dudley, where she up to recently resided with her son, Moses Wildfong. She was sick about a month, paralysis and dropsy being the direct causes of death.
She leaves three sons, Moses and Joseph Wildfong at Dudley, one at Green Bay, and one daughter, Mrs. Wm. Torrey, to mourn her loss.
Rev. Pickering conducted the funeral, which was held Friday morning, the interment being made in the town of Scott cemetery.
