    • CARROTHERS, WENDELL WARDEN was born at Dorchester, and graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 1920. In 1922 he settled in Galt, his extensive practice, which he developed, being limited to diseases of the eye, ear, nose, and throat.

      His principle interest outside his practice was that of an outdoors life as a hunter and fisherman, and a collector of plant and animal life. He was a follower of hockey and baseball, and was an active supporter of juvenile baseball.

      He died suddenly of pneumonia on November 17, 1937, and was survived by his widow and a son.

      DR. W. W. CARROTHERS DIES

      Galt, Nov. 27. Dr. W. W. Carrothers, prominent Galt physician, died suddenly to-day from pneu- monia. The illness began when the doctor caught a cold on a hunting trip last week.
