  EDWIN GEORGE BURCHETT The death occurred in Galt hospital, last evening of Edwin George Burchett, 7 Murdock avenue, in his 71st year. Mr. Burchett had been ill for the past seven years and had been confined to hospital, for six weeks. Born at East Grinstead, Sussex, Eng., he spent several years at Gibraltar as a. gunner in the Imperial army. Twenty-seven years ago he came to Galt. He was employed here at Gardiners and at the Galt Stove plant. Mr. Burchett was a member of Trinity Anglican church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife, Mabel Marchant; one brother, John Burchett, Eng.; and four sisters, Mrs. Backshaw, Mrs. Fox and Mrs. Smeed, all of England and Mrs. Walter Cook, Oak street Galt. Memorial service (private) will be held tommow afternoon, at three o'clock, at the Harold Gray funeral home, 132 St. Andrews Street, with interment in Mount View cemetery. Galt Reporter 1937
