Funeral service was held Saturday in Linwood for Elizabeth Schumacher, of 136 King Street East, Linwood. She died January 17, 1987, at St. Mary's Hospital. She was 76.
She was the mother of Paul and Michael Hammer, both of Linwood, Donald Hammer, of Scarborough, Charles Hammer, of Waterloo, Gerald Hammer, of Hanover, Edward Hammer, of Stratford, Jeanette (Mrs. Robert Beggs), of RR2 Wallenstein, Lucille (Mrs. Walter Leis), of RR1 Wallenstein, Ann (Mrs. Peter Bugera), of Vita, Manitoba, and Carol (Mrs. George Frank), of Kitchener; also survived by 32 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; predeceased by her husband, Philip Hammer, one son, Philip Hammer, two brothers and one sister.
