    • RIECK, George Earl Passed peacefully at St. Mary's Hospital on Sunday, May 6, 2018 in his 91st year. Loving father of Debra and Tom (Kim). Proud grandfather to Clinton Smits (Colleen), Alexis Hinchman (Grady), Todd Rieck (Yvonne) and great-grandfather to Emery Hinchman. Predeceased by his loving wife, Marguerite Rieck (2008), his granddaughter Nicole Smits (2008) and his brothers Walter, Robert and James. George will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. George was an avid fisherman and hunter and always had a story or two to tell. His love of sports helped fill his days. A special thanks to the caring staff at Doon Retirement Village. George's family will receive relatives and friends at the Henry Walser Funeral Home , 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467 on Friday, May 11, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel at 1 p.m. with a reception to follow. Interment Williamsburg Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy to St. Stephen's Lutheran Church or your charity of choice would be greatly appreciated (cards available at the funeral home).
