    • Mrs. Pearson Dead.

      Mrs. Jane M. Pearson, mother of W. G. Pearson, died suddenly last night about eight o'clock.

      Mrs. Pearson was feeling in the best of health it is said all day yesterday but last evening while the family was at the supper table Mrs. Pearson was stricken with paralysis and died in less than two hours.

      While the family was eating supper Mrs. Pearson dropped her knife and Mr. Pearson noticed that she was unable to pick it up with her right hand, after several attemps she succeeded in doing so with her left hand. Her face was contracted as in pain and Mr. Pearson asked her if she was in pain. At first she did not answer and the question was repeated, she finally said with an effort "I can't talk" and they were the last words she spoke.

      Mr. Pearson aided her to walk to the sofa. She was concious of everything to the last. Mrs. Pearson was stricken about seven o'clock and at twenty minutes after eight she expired.

      Mrs. Pearson was sixty-eight years of age and was born in Toronto Canada, on the first of May.

      There were no services, the remains were embalmed and shipped on No. 6 to Berlin where they will be interred.
