  LEIS, Marion Passed away peacefully, at PeopleCare Nursing Home, Tavistock on Sunday, February 14, 2016, in her 90th year. Loving mother of Elaine and Henry Schlueter, Ray Bender and Debbie Tyers, Sharon and James Brown, and Ron and Christine Bender. Cherished grandmother of Mike (Karen), Donna (John), Jim (Denise), Wendy (Jon-Paul) and their son Aaron, Tracey (Brian) and their daughter Lillian, Grant (Laura) and their son Ethan, Marcus, Jessica, and Garrett. Fondly remembered by her step-children Wayne and Joyce Leis, Wesley and Janice Leis, Sharon Leis, Donna and Brian Britton and their families and many nieces and nephews. Dear sister-in-law of Jean Bender and Aden and Verna Snyder. Predeceased by her parents Aaron B. and Leah (Boshart) Jantzi, first husband Marcus Bender (1970) and second husband Leroy Leis (1992), daughter-in-law Bonnie Bender (1997), step-son Willard Leis, brothers-in-law Ed Bender, Earl Bender and his wife Marie. Marion was a bookkeeper for Wellesley Township for many years and a faithful member of Maple View Mennonite Church and the ladies sewing circle. She enjoyed cooking, embroidery, market gardening and selling her produce at the markets in Kitchener and Waterloo. Friends may call at Maple View Mennonite Church, 5074 Deborah Glaister Line, Wellesley, on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Friday, February 19, 2016 at 11 a.m. Pastor Brent Kipfer officiating. Interment to follow at Maple View Mennonite Cemetery.
