  John Wideman, "son of Sebastian Wideman, was born in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, about the year 1734. After attaining the age of maturity he was married and moved to Bucks County, same state, where he followed the agricultural life until he was well advanced in years. It could not be ascertained to whom he was married, neither were we informed of the names of his children save that of one son named Henry." Eby, Ezra E. (1895).
