- Christian Wideman, "was born in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, in 1780 or 1781. He was married to Mary Kauffman and resided in Bucks County until 1805 when he also moved to Canada and settled in Markham Township, York County, near his father's place. Here he was ordained deacon of the Mennonite body. To him and his wife were born the following children"
