Notes |
- SEIBERT, Sally Ann (nee Bean) It is with great sadness that the family of Sally Seibert announces her passing, at age 73, on Sunday, August 20, 2017 at the Freeport Campus of Grand River Hospital. Sally was predeceased by her loving parents, Doris (Bradshaw) and Aubrey Bean, her son Steve, and her sister Martha Brown (Foster). Loving mother of sons Jeffrey Seibert, Waterloo and Derek Seibert, Kansas; beloved sister of Michael (Mary Ann), twin sister Diane (Doug Smith, deceased), step-sister of Diane Duffield, John Duffield and Charles Duffield (Charmaine); proud grand- mother of Keelan, Lukas and Cameron Seibert, and great-grandmother of Lilah Seibert; much loved and missed by the mother of her grandchildren, Lisa Seibert (Randy Scott) and fondly remembered by Dave Seibert. Sally grew up in Kitchener and attended KCI, followed by Stratford Teachers College. She loved children and enjoyed teaching elementary school in Kitchener until the birth of her first child. In later years, Sally enjoyed working at Westmount Pharmacy, experiencing regular contact with people, especially old friends. Sally was a much loved "Aunt Sals" to her nieces and nephews- Michael Bean (Carolyn), David Bean (Liz), Christopher Bean (Anh Minh), Marcia La Roue (Patrick), Kate Brown, David Brown and their families. They will always remember the fun times shared with their special aunt. Sally will be missed greatly by her many friends who shared such happy times with her and who will cherish the memory of her infectious laughter and kind and generous nature. The family would like to thank Dr. Michael Koke and the staff at Freeport Hospital for their care and support during Sally's lengthy stay there. Friends are invited to share memories of Sally during a visitation at Westheights Community Church, 82 Westheights Dr. Kitchener, on Friday, August 25th from 9:30-10:30 a.m.; Memorial Service at 11 a.m., reception to follow.
